Palworld elements

Use the type chart first: Fire beats Grass and Ice, Water beats Fire, Electric beats Water, Ground beats Electric, and Neutral has no strength.

The nine-element chart

The supplied chart lists Fire, Grass, Ground, Electric, Water, Ice, Dragon, Dark and Neutral. Each has a weakness; Fire is the only listed element strong against two elements, while Neutral has no listed strength.

A Pal can have one or two elements, and skills also have an element. Check the active skill rather than assuming every attack follows the Pal name.

Damage rules

The supplied Wiki describes strong attacks as 2x damage, weak attacks as 0.5x, and neutral interactions as 1x. Its dual-element table lists 4x for two strengths, 0.25x for two weaknesses, and normal damage when one relationship is strong and the other weak.

Another supplied passage uses a conflicting 150% figure. This page therefore retains only the 2x, 0.5x and dual-element values supported by the matching tables.

Exploration and bosses

For unknown dungeon targets, the guide article recommends a varied team and skills with more than one element. For a fixed tower target, first inspect its element and attack pattern, then bring counters.

The article uses Zoe and Grizzbolt as an Electric example and suggests Ground Pals. It is an example of the preparation process, not a complete boss database.

Source boundary

This page only combines the supplied Wiki, guide article and video transcripts. Video recommendations are attributed to their authors; recheck current in-game descriptions when a version, location, value or mechanic differs.
